Dan Sikes, a consistent money-winner on the PGA and Senior tours for 27 years, died after complications from stomach surgery. He was 58.
Sikes, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., was admitted to a hospital Friday, complaining of stomach pains and underwent surgery the next day. He died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Sikes turned professional at 30, and had career earnings of $1,306,570 on the PGA and Senior tours.
