Cultural Mix Viewed as Plus at Cleveland

I have been associated with Cleveland High since 1975. As a parent I sent my three children through this school and for the past nine years I have been employed here on a full-time basis.

I walk this campus daily and sometimes in the evening at parent gatherings without fear. In fact, I do so with joy, surrounded by students from every corner of Los Angeles and almost every corner of the world. I am very proud of my association with a caring, hard-working staff of professionals, with the multitude of outstanding programs offered and most of all with the multi-ethnic young people in our “melting pot.” I am much richer for the time I have spent here and truly take offense to Mr. Tosches’ article.
