The 1988 American Film Market reports a record number of registrations for the eighth annual international film market--to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Feb. 26-March 4. Organizers of the principal U.S. market for film sales announced this week that it has already reached capacity with a total of 200 companies registered to sell films and services, a 27% increase over 1987. At least 92 of the market’s 96 member companies will be selling English-language productions.
