Disneyland Seeks 600 New Workers for Holidays During ‘Job Jamboree’
- Share via
Disneyland is hosting a week-long “Job Jamboree” through Sunday to hire 600 new employees to work at the Magic Kingdom during the coming holiday season. Of the 600 jobs offered, 500 are for seasonal employment, while the remaining 100 are year-round part-time positions.
The Disneyland casting office is expanding its hours for this week only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Appointments are not necessary, as job applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Prospective employees will complete an application, be interviewed and possibly receive a job offer--all during the same visit.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and be available to work during the coming holiday season. Those hired on a seasonal basis can expect to work during the Christmas period, spring vacation and summer, while those selected for year-round employment should be available for holidays and weekends throughout the year.
Employment at the park is being offered in the areas of food service, custodial and merchandise. For seasonal positions, wages vary from $4.25 to $4.50 per hour. The starting rate for year-round part-time employees ranges from $4.94 to $5.27 hourly, with vacation and pension benefits included.
The Disneyland casting office is located at 1313 Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim. For further information, call (714) 999-4407.
