Excellent Yellowtail Action Off Mexican Coast

As the fall tuna bite begins to fade south of San Diego, several overnight boats are sticking closer to the Mexican coastline for an outstanding yellowtail bite.
On Wednesday, both the Holiday and New Lo-An headed from Point Loma Sportfishing 70 miles down the coast and by 10 a.m. had their limits, weighing 12 to 30 pounds. The Mexican limit for yellowtail is five fish per person.
