Bethlehem Steel posted a profit of $30.4 million in the third quarter, a turnaround from the year-ago quarter when the company lost $71.3 million. The improvement stemmed largely from higher prices and shipments, combined with lower costs, the Bethlehem, Pa., company said. Third-quarter revenue was up 12% to $1.15 billion.
