SDSU Women Upset San Jose St.

The San Diego State women’s volleyball team has accomplished something it had not done all season: It has won four straight matches.
SDSU, which has not been ranked in the top 20 since early in the season, upset 11th-ranked San Jose State, 15-12, 15-9, 15-8, Thursday in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match at Peterson Gym.
Angelica Jackson had 25 kills to lead SDSU (10-10, 5-5). San Jose is 14-4 and 8-2.
The Aztecs have defeated three ranked teams during the winning streak. In addition to San Jose, SDSU beat Cal State Long Beach and Texas. The Aztecs play No. 2 University of the Pacific at 7:30 tonight in Peterson Gym.
Cal Lutheran University 3, Point Loma Nazarene 0--Cal Lutheran, the No. 3-ranked team in the NAIA, defeated the Crusaders, 15-2, 15-7, 15-0, in a Golden State Athletic Conference match at Thousand Oaks. Cal Lutheran is 25-2 and 11-0; Point Loma is 9-14 and 4-8.
