Businessman Marvin L. Warner filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. bankruptcy laws in federal court in Jacksonville, Fla. Warner, 68, was convicted earlier this year of felony criminal charges related to the 1985 collapse of the Home State Savings Bank in Ohio, which he owned.
