Faro, Mitchum Lead UCSD to Soccer Win

Felicia Faro and Heidi Mitchum scored two goals each Tuesday as the UC San Diego women’s soccer team defeated Redlands, 6-0, at La Jolla.

Faro also had an assist for UCSD (11-3-1), which is ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division III.

Neither team scored in the first half. Redlands (2-13) did not have a shot on goal until less than a minute was left. UCSD had 37 shots.
