Sue Darcey had nine kills as Cal State Northridge defeated Chapman College, 15-0, 15-4, 15-10, in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball game Tuesday at CSUN.
Seven of Darcey’s kills came in the first game, which lasted 10 minutes.
CSUN is 40-0 at home since the advent of the CCAA in 1981. The Lady Matadors, 18-5 overall and 5-0 in conference this season, also have won 32 consecutive CCAA games since losing to Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 6, 1984.
Chapman (9-11, 3-2 in conference) offered little resistance Tuesday night.
CSUN freshman Kathleen Dixon had eight kills and sophomore Alissa Evans had game-highs with three aces and 10 digs. Evans, an outside hitter, also had five kills, all in the second game.
