Judges’ Posts Filled: Judge Margaret R. Anderson has been elected presiding judge and Judge Francisco F. Firmat has been elected assistant presiding judge of North Orange County Municipal Court. Anderson, a graduate of Western State University, was admitted to the California Bar in 1978. She served six years with the Orange County public defender’s office before her election to the Municipal Court bench in 1984. Firmat, a 1976 law graduate of Western State University, had a private law practice in Fullerton until late 1985, when he was appointed to the bench by Gov. George Deukmejian. Both posts have one-year terms.
