ICN Unit Completes an Acquisition

ICN Biomedicals Inc., a subsidiary of ICN Pharmaceuticals in Costa Mesa, has completed its already-announced acquisition of Radioassay Systems Laboratories and Immuchem Corp. of Carson. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
RSL/Immuchem develops and sells radiological tests used primarily for reproductive endocrinology and other hormonal testing. The 17-year-old company, which has 60 employees, distributes its products throughout the world. Sales totaled $6 million in 1986.
