Annette Insdorf tells us in her profile of director Bruce Robinson (“Ex-Actor Finds His Niche Behind the Camera,” July 18) “that among his earlier accomplishments was his portrayal of Malvolio in Zeffirelli’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ ”!!
Malvolio, one of Shakespeare’s most famous characters, does not even make a cameo appearance in “Romeo and Juliet.” There is, however, a guy hanging around Verona called Benvolio. Perhaps this is the role Robinson played.
