The Mexican national baseball team, Seleccion Nacional, will play the Valley Dodgers on Tuesday as part of its tour of Southern California.
The game is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Cal State Northridge’s Matador Field. The Valley Dodgers are a member of the National Baseball Congress.
The Mexican team is sponsored by Baseball Diplomacy, Inc., a non-profit volunteer agency based in Santa Monica that fosters peaceful relations with Central American countries through baseball.
Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children.
The Mexican team will compete in the Pan American Games immediately after the conclusion of the Southern California tour.
