Favored Ambra’s Beat Is Hollypark Winner

Favored Ambra’s Beat, ridden by Chris McCarron, drove to the lead in the final furlong and won by a length Thursday in the $25,000 feature race for older fillies and mares at Hollywood Park.

Windy Triple K., ridden by Pat Valenzuela, finished second, a head in front of Such A Splash, ridden by Dave Patton, in a field of seven.

Ambra’s Beat raced six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11 2/5 and earned $13,750 for the victory.

Ambra’s Beat paid $6.40, $3.60 and $2.80. Windy Triple K. returned $2.80 and $2.60, and Such A Splash paid $3.80 to show.
