Titan Corp. reported $1.7 million in net income and revenue that rose 22% to $37.4 million for the second quarter ended June 30. The company reported $2.4 million in net income, including a $1.5-million extraordinary tax credit, during the second quarter of 1986.
Titan reported $3 million in net income for the first half of 1987, compared with $4.5 million in net income during the same quarter a year ago. Revenue rose 14% to $67.9 million for the first half.
Titan’s backlog has risen to about $115 million, up from $94 million at year’s end, according to President and Chief Executive Gene Ray.
