Pic ‘N’ Save plans to open 23 stores in Louisiana.

The Los Angeles-based chain said the expansion includes a $35-million warehouse complex in New Orleans and the creation of 1,100 jobs overall. The warehouse and most stores are expected to be completed within two years, the company said. Pic ‘N’ Save sells household items, luggage, toys and clothes at discount prices.
