Supreme Court Nomination of Judge Robert Bork

Bird and her supporters argued vehemently during the recent campaign for her reelection that judges should be selected on judicial ability and legal scholarship, not their political or social beliefs.
We should now expect these same people to support just as eagerly the nomination of Judge Bork, a former Yale Law School professor, solicitor general and federal appeals court judge, to the Supreme Court.
