Tides Close Highway Lane: The No. 2 lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway from Warner Avenue to Admiralty Drive in Sunset Beach was closed for what was expected to be about two hours beginning at 8:30 p.m. Friday due to “seasonally high tides” that washed up onto the roadway, California Highway Patrol dispatcher Deborah Grady said. It was the second consecutive night that that stretch was closed, she said. The high tides were expected to return tonight.
