Pat Russell, in blaming her defeat on “community activists,” reveals her basic lack of understanding that it was the residents of the 6th District that she was supposed to represent. Not the investments of Hughes, Summa and other corporate developers, not the power brokers at City Hall.
She was supposed to represent us, the residents of Westchester, Crenshaw, Playa del Rey, Mar Vista and Venice.
