Vice President George Bush and former Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig Jr. received the highest favorable ratings by Republican primary voters, while TV evangelist Pat Robertson was given the highest unfavorable rating, according to a poll. The New York Times-CBS News survey showed that 46% viewed Bush favorably, compared to a 15% unfavorable opinion. Haig’s ratings were 37% favorable and 20% unfavorable. Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas came in third with a 29% favorable rating, compared to 10% unfavorable. Robertson’s ratings were 14% favorable and 29% unfavorable.
