About 200 shots were fired from a passing car into a crowd near Riverfront Park in Tampa, Fla., wounding one man, authorities said. The crowd had gathered outside the park just after its 8 p.m. closing, said police Cpl. D. W. Queen. The wounded man was taken to a hospital, but did not appear to be seriously injured, Queen said. The earlier disturbances ended without confrontations between the crowds and police officers, authorities said.
