Martin Kaplan has been promoted to vice president-production of the motion picture division of Walt Disney Pictures, Burbank. Kaplan, who joined Disney last March as a creative executive, had been chief speech writer and deputy campaign manager for former Vice President Walter F. Mondale during his 1984 presidential campaign.
