Howard C. McCrady, chairman and chief executive of Phoenix-based Valley National Corp. and its Valley National Bank of Arizona subsidiary, has been named a director of the Los Angeles branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
He fills the seat left by the retirement Dec. 31 of Bram Goldsmith, chairman and chief executive of City National Bank, Beverly Hills. McCrady’s term runs for three years. The regional Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco serves nine Western states and has branch offices in Los Angeles, Portland, Salt Lake City and Seattle.
