A Los Angeles man was killed and two others wounded by gunfire in a remote canyon in central Riverside County. The body of Anthony Frazier, 20, was found in the trunk of a rented late-model Buick parked on San Timoteo Canyon Road west of the Redlands Freeway (Interstate 10), near the City of Beaumont, Sheriff’s Detective Joe DeArmond said. Injured were William Rodgers, 19, of Compton and Phillip LeBlanc, 23, of Los Angeles. Rodgers suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper abdomen and was reported in fair condition at Pass Memorial Hospital in Banning. LeBlanc was in fair condition at County-USC Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the right hand and shoulder.
