Women Voters Hire Male Chief

WASHINGTON — The League of Women Voters has hired a male executive director for the first time since it was founded in 1920, it was disclosed today.
League President Dorothy Ridings said Grant Thompson will become the chief of staff of the nonpartisan organization Jan. 27, ending a six-month search for an executive director for the league’s national office.
