Fluor Corp. settled three civil suits.

The Irvine-based engineering and construction company had filed the suits against against a former contracts engineer who allegedly accepted bribes and kickbacks from foreign companies seeking work from Fluor in Saudi Arabia. Fluor officials confirmed that the suits against Thomas A. Belt of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., had been dropped last month but declined to discuss terms of the settlement. Belt still faces criminal charges filed last month by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Los Angeles.
