So Marcia Simonson and Patricia Trotter (Viewers Views, Dec. 15) were appalled by the color showing of “Miracle on 34th Street.” How tragic. If they would have gotten out of their chairs and turned down the color on their TV sets, they could have watched it in black and white. By the way, I doubt that the people responsible for the color process thought they were improving this classic. They were just trying something different.
