Wladislaw Kozakiewicz, the gold-medal winner in the pole vault at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, has entered the Sunkist Invitational track meet Friday night Jan. 17 at the Sports Arena.
Kozakiewicz, who defected from Poland last year and now lives in West Germany, won his Olympic gold medal with a then-world record height of 18-11 1/2.
