Redevelopment Agency Announces Acting Chief

Donald W. Cosgrove, who has been with the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency for nine years, has been named acting administrator, succeeding Edward Helfeld, who left his post as administrator earlier this month when he could not come to terms on a new contract with the agency’s commission. An executive search firm is being hired to identify candidates for Helfeld’s $96,000-a-year position.
