$6-Million Spa Health Club to Open in Vista

Cal-a-Vie Resort Health Spa, a $6-million health and fitness resort, will open today on 125 acres in Vista, northern San Diego County, according to William F. Power, president of Power Inc., general partner of the resort development.
The first phase of development, The Club at Cal-a-Vie, will include the complete spa complex, 24 guest villas, lobby, dining room, library, offices and a central pool area. The second phase, The Village at Cal-a-Vie, will include guest cottages, a health center with professional staff, and an “a la carte” spa program.
The Club will offer the “Spa Experience,” a seven-day program limited to 24 guests a week for an inclusive fee of $3,000, which includes transportation from San Diego’s airport. The Cal-a-Vie resort will be operated by the Newport Beach firm of Health Care Development.
