Baseball: Notre Dame defeats San Marino, 1-0

A single by pinch hitter Kynan Barton in the bottom of the seventh scored Jordan Myrow with the winning run in Sherman Oaks Notre Dame’s 1-0 victory over San Marino on Monday. Tommy Wilson threw five shutout innings and Eddie Muhl picked up the win with two shutout innings of relief.

Mission Viejo defeated Aliso Niguel, 9-7. Evan Nelson had two hits and two RBIs. John Balliet contributed three RBIs.

New Community Jewish defeated Buckley, 3-2.
