Palm Desert won the CIF-WSCGA Regional Championship in girls’ golf on Thursday, finishing with a score of 392 to beat second-place Torrey Pines in the team competition at the Golf Club of Rancho California in Murrieta.
Sandy Choi of Torrey Pines won the individual title with a round of 70. Megan King of Mira Costa was second with a 72.
Correction: An earlier version incorrectly listed Diamond Bar as finishing second. It was Torrey Pines.
