Football: First play of the game, Corona Centennial scores

What a start for Corona Centennial in its Big VIII League showdown game against Riverside North. On Centennial’s first offensive play, Romello Goodman took the hand off and ran 65 yards for a touchdown.

Then North fumbled on its second offensive play. Centennial drove 59 yards, with Hayden Gavett scoring on a 15-yard run. It’s Centennial 14, North 0 with 9:30 left in the first quarter.
