Baseball: Chatsworth defeats Banning in regular-season finale

West Valley League champion Chatsworth, expected to be the No. 1 seed for the City Section Division I playoffs, ended its regular season on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Marine League co-champion Wilmington Banning.

Aaron Brown picked up the pitching victory and also contributed two hits. Sophomore Raul Camas had two RBIs. Chatsworth is 21-5. Jonathan Hernandez had three hits for Banning.

The Chancellors will get next week off before starting the playoffs on May 24.
