Baseball: Birmingham girl pitcher is headed for college

Birmingham pitcher Marti Sementelli has been given a partial scholarship to Montreat College, an NAIA school in North Carolina.

It’s a major accomplishment considering she’s a girl playing on a baseball team with all boys.
