Los Angeles Loyola has won the Southern Section Commissioner’s Cup for the 2009-10 school year as the No. 1 boys’ sports program in Southern California. It’s the second consecutive year the Cubs have won the award, beating out close to 600 schools.
Points were awarded based on team performances. Loyola won titles in volleyball and track and field while placing second in water polo and swimming.
Santa Ana Mater Dei finished second, with El Segundo and Anaheim Servite tying for third.
