It’s only the first game for Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, but the Knights pulled out a trick play to take a 14-7 lead over Klein Oak in the second quarter at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Quarterback Ryan Kasdorf passed the ball to receiver Tyler Thomas to the right side, and Thomas threw the ball back to Kasdorf, who ran 71 yards for a touchdown escorted by at least five blockers.
Klein Oak had tied the game at 7-7 on a 25-yard touchdown reception by Tory Waites.
