Football: QB Fajardo is star for Servite

Senior quarterback Cody Fajardo is putting on a show for Servite. He has completed his first seven passes for 51 yards, including a five-yard TD pass to Chris Nicholls, giving the Friars a 9-0 lead over Long Beach Poly with just over four minutes left in the first quarter.

Poly should be thankful that its clock operator kept forcing the officials to stop the game, preventing Servite’s no-huddle offense from picking up even more steam.
