Baseball: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame pulls out win in eighth inning

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame keeps winning one-run games. On Friday, the Knights got a bases-loaded single from Kelly Dugan in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat West Hills Chaminade, 6-5, in a Mission League game.

Dugan also hit a home run. Josh Goossen Brown came on in relief to pick up the victory. Tim Rowley hit a three-run home run for Chaminde.

Notre Dame improves to 17-4 overall and 7-1 in league. Chaminade drops to 12-14 overall and 1-7 in league.
