Boys’ basketball: King pulling away from Ocean View

King outscored Ocean View, 24-15, in the third quarter to take a 53-48 lead heading into the fourth in the Nike Extravaganza. Ocean View had led, 33-29, at halftime.

Kawhi Leonard has 27 points so far for King, ranked No. 5 in the Southland by The Times. Three players have scored in double figures for Ocean View, led by Anthony Brown’s 12 points.
