The Dodgers have announced that Randy Wolf, who is tied for the major league lead with 30 starts, has been scratched from his scheduled start Friday night in San Francisco because of stiffness in his left elbow.
The Dodgers were already down a starter after Clayton Kershaw was injured and forced out of this Saturday’s start after running into the fence shagging fly balls at Dodger Stadium.
Wolf said he felt the injury while swinging the bat during an Aug. 31 win over the Diamondbacks.
