Armstrong and his stolen time trial bike

SOLVANG -- From his very active Twitter account, Lance Armstrong posted Thursday evening that he will ride his stolen time trial bike Friday during the Amgen Tour of California’s 15-mile Stage 6 time trial.

Armstrong’s custom bike was stolen from a truck outside his Astana team’s hotel in Sacramento last Sunday and was recovered when an anonymous person returned it to Sacramento police Wednesday. On his Twitter message Armstrong said the bike had been checked out and was in perfect condition.
