An Orange County youth soccer referee was charged Tuesday with forcing sex acts on a teenage boy he had chatted with on Facebook and molesting two other boys, authorities said.
Jorge Serafin, 30, allegedly knew the 15-year-old victim from Facebook and forced him on two occasions to commit sex acts in a parking lot at Serafin’s Anaheim apartment complex, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.
The incidents occurred in November, according to authorities. In January, Serafin allegedly invited a 10-year-old boy into his apartment, where he massaged the child’s ‘bare back with sexual intent,’ the district attorney’s office said in a statement.
Serafin is also accused of sexually touching a 14-year-old boy after inviting the youth to his apartment.
At the time of the alleged crimes, Serafin was a referee for the Oak View Soccer League in Huntington Beach, which features matches involving youth teams.
Serafin was being held in lieu of $1-million bail and is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 1 at the Central Jail in Santa Ana.
