Motorcyclist leading funeral procession crashes on 60 Freeway

A motorcyclist crashed Saturday while escorting a funeral procession on the 60 Freeway in the City of Industry, authorities said.
The procession was headed east and near the Fullerton Road exit about 10:45 a.m. when the motorcyclist hit another another vehicle and lost control of his bike, California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs said.
The motorcyclist was conscious but suffered a concussion, according to the CHP incident log.
He was taken by helicopter to a trauma center. His name and age were not available. No other injuries were reported.
A SigAlert was issued for the area and two lanes were closed.
