Costume Designers Guild announces nominees, host for 2012 awards

Costume designers working on ‘Bridesmaids,’ ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and a Carl’s Jr. ad featuring a burger-print bikini were among the nominees for the 14th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards announced Thursday.

The winners in seven categories (listed below along with the respective nominees) will be announced at an awards gala Feb. 21 at the Beverly Hilton hosted by Jane Lynch.

According to a statement issued by the Costume Designers Guild, additional honorary awards will be announced next week.
